Catherine is a Sophomore studying Speech Pathology and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys swing dancing, making videos, and travelling. In the future she hopes to be a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist or do research in the field.
Sean is a Sophomore studying Cellular and Biomolecular Engineering. Outside of the classroom, Sean loves swing dancing, playing clarinet, and making art. Someday he hopes to work abroad designing pharmaceuticals or working in sustainability.
Andres is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering. He discovered swing dancing during his first year of grad school in 2017, fell in love with the dance and the swing community, and has been swing dancing since then. When he is not dancing, he works on his research, enjoys photography, board games, and traveling. One day he hopes his research helps improve the quality of life of hearing-impaired people.
Erin is a senior in human services with a minor in religious studies and works at the Episcopal Campus Ministry. Erin has been dancing for over two years and has been a swing one instructor and the Safe Spaces Coordinator.
Celeste is a Sophomore double majoring in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, and Anthropology, and studied in Brazil for a year. In her free time she enjoys swing dancing, cross-stitching, and is a Resident Assistant at Owen. In the future she hopes to conduct her own research in the field.
Stephen is a Junior studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. In addition to swing, he enjoys running and board games. In the future, Stephen wants to work in the aerospace industry on mission design and flight operations.
Safe Spaces Coordinator
Nicholas is a sophomore studying computer science. He loves dancing, hiking, writing, playing the tuba, and especially loves dogs. Though he doesn't quite know what he plans to do in the future, he is excited for it, nonetheless.
